We delve into what’s obstructing new ways of being and doing in service of your best self, team, group.

About Tate

I'm an executive coach with a deep belief in the potential of people and the power of partnership. With a background in leadership development and years of experience working with senior leaders across industries, I specialize in helping individuals navigate complexity, build confidence, and lead with authenticity.

What drives me is not just the outcomes—but the process. I’m passionate about walking alongside my clients as they reflect, gain clarity, and uncover what’s possible. My coaching style is grounded in trust, curiosity, and presence. I create a space where clients feel safe to be brave—where they can explore hard questions, challenge assumptions, and stretch beyond what they thought was possible.

Whether you’re stepping into a new role, navigating change, or striving to grow your leadership impact, I bring both practical insight and heartfelt support to help you succeed on your terms.

  • I am constantly evolving and always growing. I believe that life will always have something to teach me.  Here are three of the most meaningful shifts for me in recent years:

    ·       Re-connecting to my body and trying to shed all of the ways dominant society disconnects us from our bodies and the land.  This has been a slow and often painful return because it often required me to grapple with how unpracticed I am in listening to my body.  From recovering from a severe car accident a year ago, to (constantly trying to maintain!) a daily meditation and yoga practice, somatic healing and focusing on embodiment is at the core of my own personal transformation.

    • Seeing boundaries as a form of care.  From identifying as a queer and trans person in the challenging climate that is today to supporting loved ones with PTSD and struggling with addiction, I have learned that, in the words of Prentis Hemphill, “boundaries are the distance at which I can love you and me simultaneously”

    • Conflict can deepen relationships.  Conflicts with others take so much of my brain space!  This is what keeps me up at night—a conflict with my mother, a co-worker, a friend.  While not every relationship is meant to continue, I continue to find myself re=patterning around how I can approach conflict with curiosity, generative creativity, and profound compassion—often starting with myself.  I cannot control other people, but I find myself asking the mirror: What if I determined success by being proud of how I showed up in the conversation?

When I’m not supporting others in their growth, you can find me biking around town, looking at trees, cooking a big meal that makes a mess of the kitchen and inviting loved ones to share in on the fun, cuddling my cat, and exploring some new self-reflection deep dive (i.e. Enneagram, Astrology, Tarot, Numerology).

  • My educational background and rigorous experience help set a solid foundation for me to help support you.:

  • I bring over 15 years of experience in designing and facilitating meaningful learning experiences that support growth at every stage of life and leadership. Grounded in adult learning theory and honed through hands-on practice in higher education and healthcare, my work has supported a wide range of individuals—from first-generation college students to retiring senior executives.

Beyond my expertise in how people learn and grow, I have a rich background in creating spaces that invite both safety and courage. Whether it's hosting monthly salons in my home to explore life’s big questions or facilitating multi-day leadership retreats, I’m deeply committed to fostering environments where people feel seen, supported, and inspired to reflect, stretch, and lead with authenticity.

  • At the core of my coaching practice is a belief in the transformative power of reflection. I see coaching as a sacred space—one where insight, clarity, and change can emerge when we slow down, turn inward, and listen deeply to ourselves.

I partner with clients to uncover not just what they do, but who they are—and who they are becoming. Through thoughtful questioning, grounded presence, and intentional practices, I support leaders in exploring their inner landscape, making meaning of their experiences, and aligning with what matters most.

I believe true empowerment comes from within. It grows when people reconnect with their own wisdom and agency—not only through cognitive insight (the mind), but also through embodied awareness (the body) and emotional truth (the heart). My approach integrates all three dimensions, honoring the full complexity of what it means to be human and to lead.

This work is not about fixing or prescribing. It’s about cultivating the conditions where growth feels possible, where courage feels safe, and where transformation can take root.

  • I work with individuals who are ready to engage in meaningful transformation—personally and professionally. My clients are often navigating pivotal moments in their lives and careers: stepping into new roles, navigating difficult interpersonal challenges (bosses, co-workers, team members), contemplating a career change, or seeking greater clarity about their purpose and direction.

A common topic we focus on in our coaching is navigating complex interpersonal dynamics in ways that are authentic and effective. This could be personally seeking to develop stronger and healthier friendships to leveraging relationships towards strategic influence in their professional lives.

Whether you're feeling stuck, searching for renewed purpose, or simply ready to grow in new and courageous ways, I’m here to support you in making space for reflection, reclaiming your agency, and taking aligned action toward what matters most.
